Set in the final days of the Roman occupation of Britannia we follow Argillis as he attempts to mount a defence against the savage, unruly and just plain smelly hordes of Saxons as they invade the coastline. Allying himself with the long hated native Britons they march to Hadrian's wall to defend to the last- encountering ambush, betrayal and loyalty along the way.
